Mine takes place in the Netherlands. Genre: Romance. The main character is named Sarah Tyler, whose older sister, Emme passed away a few months before from (well you find that out in the book ;)). Her aunt and uncle live in the Netherlands as missionaries, and they offer to help her out (her family is kind of messed up and she's having a difficult time dealing with her sister's death) and so she decides to try it out and live with them for a couple months, or however long she wants to. While she's there, she finds her first love (though it's rather complicated, of course), she experiences what it is like as American to be in a foreign country, and she learns how to deal with death and the fact that anyone can die at any time.

The Shadow Girl has two main characters: Lisa Keller and Selena. Both these girls were originally best friends until a church split broke apart their friendship. Genre: Tragedy/Family. For almost two years they haven't even spoken to each other. Then, on February 19, Lisa commits suicide in the girls bathroom at Clayton High (the school they both attend.) After her death, several investigations start, and Selena starts asking herself questions. As investigators dive deeper into Lisa's story, both sides of the story are revealed, as well as some other secrets.

Lily is probably one of my stranger novels. It's about an ordinary girl who mysteriously disappears one autumn afternoon. Genre: Suspense. The basic thing that readers try to find throughout the story is what really happened to Lily on that day. It has two main characters: Tanya, Lily's best friend, and Lily herself. It's a little stranger, with also many twists and turns.

Last December is my most recent novel. My idea was inspired through a dream. Genre: suspense/action/superstition. The main character is named Celeste, and she can see angels and demons. Though her gift is rare, she can't tell which is which (good or bad). However, they greatly affect her daily life. This is also a stranger novel.

The Unseen is part of a six book series. The main character is named Vanessa Krause. Genre: Romance/Suspense/Sci-fi. Her story begins on Halloween night (no I did not just recently make this one up.) In the town she lives in, three people have mysteriously disappeared on this night, all found dead. This has caused a serious hype among the people, but to Vanessa, it all is extremely annoying. However, that Halloween night, she sees something terrifying in the woods and she is knocked out unconscious. Three days later, she wakes up in the same world, but as a different person. WARNING: THE REST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS. IT DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH YOU WANT IT TO BE SUSPENSEFUL. IT IS ALSO QUITE COMPLICATED AS THE STORY GOES ON. She soon learns that no one can see her or hear or, or even detect her presence. No she is not dead. She is part of a new race of humans, preserved from the future to keep the human race alive. They are divided into certain categories: Hunters, Warriors, Elders, and Protectors. Hunters collect human souls throughout the course of the year (yes, kill them pretty much), because this race of humans need human souls in order to live. They devour them on the Harvest (aka Halloween night) and anyone who comes in their feeding "zone" automatically becomes one of them (that's what happens to Vanessa.) Warriors protect the earth itself, by nourishing plants, animals, and elements. They have a direct link with the sun. Vanessa falls in love with Chaz, who is a Warrior, and she becomes a Huntress. However, there is a lethal feud between the Hunters and Warriors. The Elders are in charge of everyone, and the Protectors protect the races from other lethal races, trying to time travel where they are. These lethal races are designed to do only one thing: kill. Though her love is forbidden with Chaz, it also becomes even more complicated. It is possible to destroy an Unseen by sucking out their souls, however this can only be done with Hunters and Warriors. Warriors suck out Hunters souls, and visa versa. However, their race is also linked to nature, in which, if a Huntress and a Warrior were to fall in love, terrible things would happen to the world around them (natural disasters, etc.) It is an extremely complicated story, but quite interesting all the same.

Distorted is about abortion. It is set in the future, in a point in time where medical advancements are so great that an aborted baby can be healed (if the mother gives birth to them alive - which does happen - though it is rare.) Genre: Romance. In this story, there is an organization that deals with babies who live through the abortion process. If a baby lives after an "attempt" abortion, then they can be healed through medical advancements. However, they are so badly scarred, that they remain distorted for the rest of their lives. This means that they are highly frowned upon in society, to the point where, once they are healed, they are sent to the Isolation House to live in isolation for the rest of their lives. The main character, Silas, tells the story through his eyes. He is the first person to ever escape the Isolation House, and being a genius, invented a rather clever disguise. Through this, he meets someone, someone who will change his life forever.

In His Eyes is told through Missy Parker's point of view. She's popular, she's pretty, and selfish. She doesn't care about anyone but herself. Also, he doesn't ever notice Cam, until she starts having strange dreams about him. Through these dreams she starts piecing together somethings that no one had ever noticed. Through it all, she discovers a secret behind Cam - one that changes her life forever.
Bleh, so many choices!! :P
